Registration
How do I register?+

Head to the Race Roster registration page and choose your distance.

Can I change my distance after registering?+

Yes, for a $10 transfer fee (plus any price difference if moving to a longer distance). Distance and person-to-person transfers are open via your Race Roster account up until 12:00pm Friday 12 March 2027. Requests after this time can't be accommodated.

How do I manage or transfer my registration?+

Log in at raceroster.com/signin to update your details or transfer your entry to another distance or another person.

Is there a minimum age?+

Family 2km and 5km: no minimum age. 14km: 8 years. Half Marathon: 12 years. Marathon: 16 years.

Race Day
What time do I need to arrive?+

Aim to arrive 90–45 minutes before your race start. Race check-in / bib collection closes 30 minutes before your race — after that we can't guarantee you'll make the start line.

Where and when is race check-in / bib collection?+

Saturday: 1:00–5:30pm at the Inverloch Glade, for all races. Sunday: 5:30–7:00am at Inverloch for the Marathon and Half Marathon, or 6:30–8:00am at Cape Paterson for the 14km.

Is there a bus to the 14km start?+

Yes — an optional bus runs from Inverloch to Cape Paterson at 7:00am on Sunday for 14km runners.

Is there bag drop?+

Yes — bag drop is available at both Inverloch and Cape Paterson. Bags left at Cape Paterson (for the 14km, Half and Marathon starts there or pass through) are transported back to Inverloch for pickup — fast runners may even beat their bag back!

Will there be water stations on course?+

Yes. Marathon: 4, 8, 12, 16, 21, 25, 29, 33 and 37km. Half Marathon: 4, 8, 12 and 16km. 14km: 3, 6 and 10km. The 5km and Family 2km courses don't have aid stations — both are short enough to run without one.

What are the course cut-off times?+

1:30pm for the Marathon, Half Marathon and 14km on Sunday. 5:00pm for the Saturday 5km, and 5:45pm for the Saturday Family 2km.

Getting There
Where do I park?+

Any legal street parking around Inverloch is fine on race weekend — follow event signage and volunteer directions on the morning.

Are roads closed for the race?+

Yes — the Bunurong Coastal Road is closed Sunday 6:00am–2:00pm for the Marathon, Half Marathon and 14km.

Festival & Spectators
Is the festival free to attend?+

Yes — the finish-line festival at the Glade is free and open to everyone, runners and spectators alike.

Is there anything for kids?+

Yes, the Family 2km and Sunday kids' activities at the Glade are both aimed at younger runners and families.

Volunteering
How do I volunteer?+

Head to the volunteer page to see what's involved and join the VTeam — aid station and course marshal shifts earn race credits and merch.
